I understand that sometimes life happens and plans change. To secure your date, I charge a non-refundable retainer of $100 for regular sessions and $250 for weddings. This retainer confirms your booking and ensures that I have set aside time for your session.
Cancellation more than 14 days before your session: Your retainer can be applied toward a future session within one year from your original booking date.
Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before your session: 50% of the session fee is due. Your remaining retainer can still be used toward a future session.
Cancellation within 7 days of your session: 100% of the session fee is due. If the cancellation is due to unexpected circumstances, I will send a statement for insurance if needed.
Cancellation more than 30 days before your session: Your retainer can be applied toward a future session within one year from your original booking date.
Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before your session: 50% of the session fee is due. Your remaining retainer can still be used toward a future session.
Cancellation within 15 days of your session: 100% of the session fee is due. If the cancellation is due to unexpected circumstances, I will send a statement for insurance if needed.
I’m happy to reschedule once, free of charge, as long as you let me know more than 7 days before your session date. Further rescheduling or cancellations may result in an additional retainer to hold your new date.

In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, or inclement weather), we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible. You may choose to reschedule to a new date at no additional cost or receive a full refund of your retainer.

If you do not show up for your scheduled session without prior notice, your retainer will be forfeited, and a new retainer will be required to rebook the session.
Please arrive on time for your session. If you are late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time to respect other clients’ bookings. If you are more than 30 minutes late without prior notice, the session will be considered a no-show, and your retainer will be forfeited.
